Sharavathi Adventure Camp

Sharavathi Adventure Camp sits on one of the most spectacular natural settings in the JLR network — the backwaters of the Linganamakki Dam, where the Sharavathi River spreads into a vast inland lake surrounded by the rolling hills of the Sahyadris. Six kilometres away is Jog Falls — 253 metres straight down, one of the highest waterfalls in India.
All 18 cottages face the reservoir. Three packages available: Deluxe Package (non-AC, Rs 4,213), Deluxe Package A/C (Rs 5,015) and Special Cottage Package (Rs 5,266). Activities are identical across all packages — boat ride, kayaking, coracle, guided trekking, bird watching and campfire. Room 4 is specifically praised by guests for the best view — mention this when guests call to choose a room.
River fish from the Sharavathi is served at meals and multiple guests describe it as the freshest fish they have ever eaten. For 2-night stays, JLR arranges a complimentary visit to a nearby ancient temple across the reservoir.
Combine with River Tern Lodge (Bhadra reservoir, 80 km away) for a complete Western Ghats water-based JLR experience. Call us to plan the combination.
