Our Perspective
Kali Adventure Camp is a different kind of JLR property — this is not a wildlife resort where you sit quietly and watch. This is where you come to feel the river under your feet, to read the rapids, to battle a swift current in a rubber dinghy with your heart in your mouth and an oar in your hand.
Dandeli has earned its reputation as the Adventure Capital of Karnataka because of the Kali River — a temperamental, powerful river that dominates the hills and forests of the Western Ghats. The Kali Tiger Reserve surrounding it is home to tigers, leopards, the rare black panther and over 300 bird species including the magnificent Malabar Pied Hornbill.
The camp sits on the banks of the river, and the combination of white water rafting, jeep safari into KTR and coracle riding makes this one of the most activity-rich stays in the JLR network. The licensed bar is a practical bonus after a day on the river.
One important note: white water rafting is seasonal and depends on dam water release. Always confirm rafting availability before finalising your dates. Call us and we will check for you.

Padaki tip: Keen on white-water rafting? Plan it for the morning of Day 2 — or better, add a second night so you are not rushed.
- Not included: transfers to and from the resort, activities marked as extra cost, and anything not listed in your package.
- House rules: outside food and pets are not allowed, and plastics should be avoided. Mobile phones are not allowed on safaris.
- At check-in: carry ID for every guest. If someone else made the booking, their ID is needed too.
Cancellation & Date Changes
- Cancelling: 10% charge if cancelled 15 days or more before check-in; 50% between 48 hours and 14 days; no refund within 48 hours or for a no-show.
- Changing dates: free if requested 15 days or more before check-in (once only — no further change or cancellation after that); 20% at 7–14 days; 50% from 24 hours to 7 days; no changes within 24 hours.
- How to cancel or change: by email from the address used for the booking, or in writing.
- Children and single rooms: children aged 5–12 pay 50% of the tariff, and single occupancy charges apply. Tariffs are per person per night on twin sharing and can change without notice.
