Kali Adventure Camp

Kali Adventure Camp is a different kind of JLR property — this is not a wildlife resort where you sit quietly and watch. This is where you come to feel the river under your feet, to read the rapids, to battle a swift current in a rubber dinghy with your heart in your mouth and an oar in your hand.

Dandeli has earned its reputation as the Adventure Capital of Karnataka because of the Kali River — a temperamental, powerful river that dominates the hills and forests of the Western Ghats. The Kali Tiger Reserve surrounding it is home to tigers, leopards, the rare black panther and over 300 bird species including the magnificent Malabar Pied Hornbill.

The camp sits on the banks of the river, and the combination of white water rafting, jeep safari into KTR and coracle riding makes this one of the most activity-rich stays in the JLR network. The licensed bar is a practical bonus after a day on the river.
