JLR Kings Sanctuary occupies a distinctive position in the JLR portfolio — it offers the most in terms of space, amenities and family-friendly activities while still being a genuine wildlife resort at the boundary of Nagarhole Tiger Reserve.

The 40 acres of mango orchards, the swimming pool, cycling, hammocks and the Maharaja cottage with its outdoor bathtub and golf cart access make this a resort where guests who are not solely wildlife-focused will still have a full experience. It is the best JLR property for families and corporate groups with mixed interests.

One important note for guests comparing with Kabini: Kings Sanctuary includes one safari per stay (not multiple per night like Kabini). Additional safaris are available at extra cost. If maximum safari time is your priority, Kabini River Lodge may suit better. If you want a beautiful resort experience with wildlife access, Kings Sanctuary is excellent.
