This 5-day KSTDC group tour from Bangalore covers Srirangapatna, Mysore, Nanjangud, Bandipur Tiger Reserve, Ooty, Coonoor and Kodaikanal by AC Deluxe Coach with a professional multilingual guide throughout.
Day 1 opens with Tipu Sultan's Daria Daulat Bagh palace at Srirangapatna, Chamundi Hills, Mysore Palace (Amba Vilas) — the third most visited monument in India — and the evening Musical Fountain at Brindavan Gardens, KRS. Day 2 passes through Nanjangud Srikanteshwara Temple and the Bandipur forest corridor before climbing to Ooty (Udhagamandalam), with stops at Doddabetta Peak at 2,637m — Tamil Nadu's highest point — and the Ooty Botanical Garden, established in 1848. Ooty to Kodaikanal is a longer road leg
The transfer from the Nilgiris towards Kodaikanal involves substantial road travel. It is best approached as part of the experience of combining two well-known hill stations rather than as a relaxed single-destination holiday.

What to know before you choose this tour
Nilgiri Toy Train is not included
The Ooty/Nilgiri toy train is not part of this KSTDC itinerary and cannot be added within the fixed conducted-tour schedule.
Bandipur is a transit drive, not a safari
The coach passes through the Bandipur–Mudumalai forest corridor while travelling to Ooty. This should be treated as a scenic transit through the forest, not as a wildlife safari or a guaranteed animal-sighting experience.
Limited flexibility during the day
Travellers cannot separate from the group when the tour starts from the hotel in the morning. If someone does not wish to visit a particular sightseeing stop, they may remain with the coach and rest until the group returns, subject to the guide's operational instructions.
Plan to reach the starting point early

Is Srirangapatna covered on this tour?
