This 2-day KSTDC Coorg tour from Bangalore covers the Namdroling Golden Temple at Bylakuppe, Cauvery Nisargadhama island resort, Raja's Seat, Talacauvery, Bhagamandala, Abbey Falls and Dubare Elephant Camp by AC Deluxe Coach.
Day 1 opens at the Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe — home to the magnificent Golden Temple, the largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet — then Cauvery Nisargadhama, a forested river island, and Raja's Seat for sunset. Day 2 visits Talacauvery (origin of the Cauvery River), Bhagamandala Triveni Sangama, Abbey Falls through coffee and spice plantations, and Dubare Elephant Camp on the Cauvery River.
Departs every Friday and Saturday at 6:30 AM from Yeshwanthpura, Bengaluru. Returns Day 2 at approximately 10:00 PM.

This 1-night/2-day tour works especially well for weekend travellers from Bengaluru and for parents or relatives visiting family in the city who want to see several well-known Coorg attractions in a short break.

Reasonably mobile seniors can participate
Some attractions involve walking. Senior travellers or families with infants who prefer not to walk at a particular stop can remain in the coach while the rest of the group visits the attraction, subject to the guide's instructions.
Bhagamandala is the overnight base
The night halt is at Bhagamandala rather than Madikeri town. It is a quieter base and also positions the group conveniently for the nearby Day 2 sightseeing before the return journey towards Bengaluru.

Dubare gets scheduled visit time
The itinerary provides a defined sightseeing window at Dubare Elephant Camp. Treat this as time to visit Dubare rather than as a promise of any particular elephant activity, since activities available during the visit can vary.
Walking is optional at demanding stops
At attractions where some walking is required, travellers who are unable or unwilling to walk can stay back in the coach for that stop. Those who are reasonably mobile should find the listed places worthwhile to visit.
Two days means focused coverage
The programme is designed to cover the listed Coorg highlights within a weekend. It does not provide the same depth or flexibility as spending three or four days in Coorg with a private vehicle.
Bhagamandala makes the next morning efficient
Staying overnight at Bhagamandala keeps the night quieter and allows the tour to cover the nearby Day 2 places before continuing with the rest of the programme and the return towards Bengaluru.
