Jog Falls on the Sharavathi River in Shivamogga district is India's tallest plunge waterfall at 253 metres (830 feet). It drops in four distinct streams — Raja, Rani, Rocket, and Roarer. The falls are most spectacular from October to January when the river is at full flow.
