The tour departs at 6:30 AM and covers three of Karnataka's most significant heritage sites in a single day. Shravanabelagola's Gomateshwara (Bahubali) statue — the world's largest monolithic statue at 18 metres — stands atop Vindhyagiri Hill and requires climbing 614 steps. Belur's Chennakeshava Temple took 103 years to build under the Hoysala dynasty. Halebid's Hoysaleshwara Temple is part of the Sacred Ensembles of the Hoysalas, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023.

If age, health or tiredness makes a particular visit difficult, the practical option on a conducted tour is to stay back in the bus and rejoin the group when it returns.

Choose KSTDC when cost-effectiveness, organised transport and a guide matter. A private taxi is better for travellers who want a slower pace, their own timings or much longer stops for architecture and photography.
