Seethanadi stands out among JLR's five rustic camps for one specific reason: it's the only one with an air-conditioned accommodation option. If you want the rustic setting — on the banks of the Seethanadi river, inside Someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary, close to Agumbe — without giving up AC entirely, the Wooden Cottage AC package is worth the higher price over the other camps' non-AC-only options.
Two things worth knowing honestly before you book: JLR currently lists both the coracle ride/pool kayaking activity and the Koodlutheertha Falls excursion as temporarily closed. Neither of these are things we can promise you, so please don't book specifically for either without checking current status with us first. The guided nature walk and Night Trail remain available.
One firm rule at this camp: pets are strictly not allowed. And being right next to Agumbe means this is a genuinely good base if you want to explore that rainforest belt as part of your trip. Call us and we'll help you plan around what's currently open.
