KR Puram is located on the national highways road (NH4) and is 15 KM away from the city of Bangalore. The Krishnarajapura railway station is situated on the suburbs of the city and this area is famous for a number of prestigious educational institutions. It is also the place which holds the city’s largest lake by name Yellammappa Shetty Lake and another lake called Yengaianna kere. The famous Krishnarajapuram cable bridge has been declared as one of the excellent national bridges in the country which connects Old Madras Road and Outer Ring Road. The mighty bridge is 230 meters long and was inaugurated in 2003 by the then Prime Minister AB. Vajpayee. It would give great pleasure to drive across the hanging bridge of KR Puram which connects the national highways road. Hotel Evoma is the only hotel available in KR Puram. Since it is a suburban area having proximity to highways, not so many hotels and restaurants are found here. You can eat at Ramaswamay catering, Calcutta fast food and Cauvery bakery. Few temples of Lord Vinayaga, Saibaba and Sri Venugoplala Swamy are found near the neighborhood.
